EDA Software IDS can work in two modes. IDS Plugin installs in your editor of choice and enables you to interactively create Register specifications, do on-the-fly compliance checks, import/export register data in various formats and generate the desired outputs right from the editor.
IDS Batch runs stand-alone in batch mode and converts files from one format to another.
The plugin enables you to quickly add the IDS feature set to your editor. IDesignSpecTM Plugin is available for Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe FrameMaker, Sun StarOffice and OpenOffice.org.
MS Word, Excel are supported on Windows.
Adobe FrameMaker is supported on Windows and Solaris.
Sun StarOffice and OpenOffice.org is supported on Windows, Linux, Solaris and MacOS.
IDS Batch is supported on Windows, Linux and Solaris.
